Join us for the 1st Whisker Walk! A Multi-Organizational Benefit, Dog Walk, and REUNION! Sunday, June 8, 2008 (rain or shine!) 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lancaster Fairground—Home of the Bolton Fair Route 117 - Seven Bridge Road Lancaster, MA Calling all Shelter alumni, parents of pets, and pet lovers of our Shelter! What's a Whisker Walk? A fun day for dogs and the humans that care for them (PLUS a dog walk-a-thon fundraiser to raise $ for our pets and programs). Multiple non-profit animal rescue groups and any pet related vendors or manufacturers will come together for the first of its kind "event not to be missed" for pet lovers. Pet owners and animal lovers WALK to lend a paw for our shelter as well as come to see exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs, special attractions, product giveaways, entertainment, food, fun and things for adults and kids to see, do and buy — both human and pet related! If you or your company offer services (e.g. mechanics, home improvement, painting, maintenance), perhaps you can donate a gift certificate, gift basket, or other goodie bag. If you work at a restaurant, please ask if they would be willing to donate a dinner package. Hotels? We love weekend packages with or without pet allowances. We aren't picky and we're more than happy to accept anything - and can even bundle items in a gift basket! We need YOUR help to make this event successful so please ask your friends, family, co-workers to consider a tax deductible item for the Whisker Walk!
