The Melvin Update from His New Family
Melvin
is thriving and doing quite well with Judi and I since we adopted
him on Saturday, January 2nd. He is a real joy to have around. We
take long walks with him every day, and that seems to be helping
tremendously with the rehab of his surgically repaired left hip, as
well as his other orthopedic issues. We have enrolled Melvin (and
ourselves) in a six week puppy training course that will be good for
all of us. We are very pleased with how Melvin's adjustment to our
home is going, and with his growth and development.
We also appreciate the work of the Sterling Shelter and the folks at
VCA Northboro, especially Rebecca, who gave Melvin such wonderful
care before we adopted him.
Sincerely, Mike and Judi Marr
Note from the Sterling Shelter Staff:
We thank all our supporters and Shelter friends for all
the donations that you made to help our little Melvin get his
surgery. As you can see, he is super loved and well cared for. We
would have never been able to help Melvin without the kind and
generous support of all our Shelter friends and supporters. We
love you guys!!!
